I have a bluetooth headphone and a bluetooth transmitter. I want to use these to hear TV. When I pair the two pairing the pairing is successful but pairing lasts only a few seconds. after few seconds the transmitter starts again searching (that is the blue and red light flickering). There is no other active bluetooth gadget nearby. My mobile phone bluetooth made inactive. what is the problem. I could visualize three roblem

Either
the transmitter is defective
or
the headphone is defective
or
there is incompatablilty between the two.

can somebody please suggest a solution?
