Post None of the POIs on my SD card are visible on Garmin

I just downloaded new North American maps to my Nuvi 765T. Most of the available space on the Garmin is now filled. I have downloaded custom POIs to the SD card (which is 8gb). None of the POIs are visible or accessible from the Garmin. What am I doing wrong?

The customised POIs need to be loaded onto your GPS using a "POI Loader" program. This will compile all the individual POI files (CSV, GPX, etc.) into one GPI file.
The GPI file needs to be in the POI subdirectory of your GPS.
