How do I make my Garmin 2595 take a certain route to my destination (i.e. not the route calculated by it). I need to go via a certain city/motorway. Many thanks. Question

Say you want to go to A, but via B.
Set route to A. then select "start new route".
Set route to B. then select "Add to Active Route".

There is a mapping program free at Garmin called BaseCamp which can be used to use the exact roads that you wish to travel on.
