Can anyone help. I bought a used F45 Navman and wanted to update maps...i was told to delete the maps then download new ones.
So i deleted the maps only to find i needed a program for the upgrade which didnt come with the sat nav..Called navdesk.
I downloaded Navdesk although it didnt have my model i chose the s45 as thought prob the nearest match.
But i cant do anything and now my copy of the maps which i placed in my pictures folder wont reload back onto the Sat nav...
Any one have any ideas how to get the maps back...its been such a headache i dont care if i dont get the updated version of maps
As an ex owner of 2 Navman GPS units, I would suggest counting your losses now and getting a proper GPS. The service received with the Navman units was non existant.
There are various Garmin models with Lifetime map updates ( approx. 3 times per year) which is much cheaper than buying updates at the cost of a new GPS these days.
