Post Sandisk micro SD and Nuvi 1350 LMT

My 1350 LMT will not recognize a Sandisk micro SD chip so that I can update my US and Canada maps. It is is a brand new 8 GB micro SD chip.

I tried using the micro SD adapter and chip on my laptop and Garmin does not recognize that either but the laptop does.

Any ideas?

Would pay to ring and ask Garmin as you can run into trouble with different speed SD cards and some GPS units cant see them. Have had the same problems on various occasions.
