I am trying to figure out how to get my nuvi 2455 to give me alerts?
Have downloaded the files from this site and have tried everything including manual and auto loading using the POI loader (including setting prox distance @400m) and tried all the different file types (CSV GPX GPX+prox etc).
I want the files on a micro sd card and have have been formatting the card before each new attempt to ensure no file corruption or double ups.
The unit recognises the custom poi's and I can check the box but I never get an alert when I'm near any of the points despite having everything on the unit switched so it should alert me with a tone.
Getting frustrated as I gave up on phone support from Garmin after waiting 40 mins listening to the same message about a support officer will be with you shortly?
