can you let us know what we need as there are some remarks i would love to change to my own!!
Can you believe it my brain cells must be increasing!! I figured it out! Re the program, Poiedit! I use google earth map to pin point a POI and save it as a a kml file NOT kmz!!! Using Poiedit I convert the kml file to an TomTom ov2! Simple!
When you closed the new POIedited with ALL the new combined POIs just save changes!! All you have to do now is match the File names with your BMP file! ADD it to your TomTom device (ie country map folder) via your computer and your away and running!
I create my own voice's to match POIs, especially school zones, annoys the hell out of my wife telling her what to do when not even being with her physically!!!
Its pretty easy to make OGG files. All you need are a couple of freeware programs 1/mp3recorder 2/mp3 to ogg converter. Both are freeware you might have to hunt a bit, they are there: http://tomtom.gps-data-team.com/
Of cause you need a set of headphones ie the skype kind. Your well on your way to total amusement. When you copy paste the ogg file into your map folder make sure the ov2 bmp ogg files all match exactly so that your TT will operate at a redlight camera with your vioce!
