Screen sensitive to temperature changes?
I just broke my almost new Nuvi 755T when a cold water bottle came in contact with its very hot screen (32 degrees celsius today). Is it just me or are these screen too sensitive?

Hot and cold Garmin screen cracks
It is the same as heat a a glass up and poor cold water in it and it will crack. It's just the way glass reacts to hot and cold.

thermal stress
Yes, that's thermal stress -- it obviously couldn't take it. Glass can be very sensitive to thermal stress.
If it's almost new and you purchased it with a cc, perhaps you have some coverage that way?
