The description of the UK Speed Camera All-in-one download states
"All UK camera locations in a single file. Do not download this file if you download other UK camera files as you will have duplicated alerts."
Does it really include all locations of all the cameras as I can not see any SPECS cameras within the file (Garmin CSV)
I original thought that the All-In_one would include the data from every file in the UK Road Safety section, am I reading to much into the description or are certain files not present in the all-in-one.
However having done some checking the all-in-one and the individual 30,40,50,60,70 files don't match.
Most cameras are in both - although with different co-ordinates, by anything from a few metres to 100+ meters. But some camera are in one, and not the other.
The fact they have different co-ordinates suggests there are actually separately maintained - so which one do we use? I'm tempted to write something that will combine them into one big file and then delete those that are within a set distance of each other (and uses the lower limit if they have different speeds).
Some had have been added to one file and not the other, and others not deleted from both, so I should end up with a superset that has a few extra cameras, but better safe that sorry.
Just looking at the Mobile and DS2 files and a lot of these are duplicated with the DS2 post and the van location being 50-100metres apart in a lot of cases (after all DS2s are van sites, so essentially mobile). So may need to the the same here.
