Hi, I put a new battery in an old TT One and it worked, when i connected it to the PC ,TT Home updated it before I could back up and after that all i got was the do not remove SD card screen.
I formated the SD card and it loaded some things but it still wont work?
Any clues?
I also have an old Tom Tom One that I use on my motorcycle, also have Tom Tom V3 which the Tom Tom PC program recognises and updates but no updates appear for the old girl only voice updates. I assume you will have problems getting yours running again for the new PC program appears to have forgetten about the old orignal Tom Tom One's that are still working, you have to keep buying new GPS, they want us to look after the enviroment but companies continue to make items as throw away after one a year or two even though can still do the job we want but not with all the bells and whistles on new GPS, not all of us want all that new fancy stuff, just a basic GPS to assist getting from A to B and old fashion service and updates. Anyway good luck, I would be interest to hear how you get on.
You have deleted the maps when you formated the card.
If you have a back up, use tomtom home to restore it.
You did do a back up using tomtom home? At some time.

Unfortuneatly, if the card was formatted, ALL will be lost. Card will be blank..
