Where to get more recent mapping software

Hi guys, firstly let me say that the POI stuff for Navman is pretty good, but as things change I'm going to update my list and send the updates in to you. The info is money well spent and probably saved me a ticket already [50 zones!]
Does anyone know where I can get updated mapping software for my ICN-620. The Southern Expressway and Port Expressway don't actually appear on the 2005 version that I have here. There are also one or two areas that have been settled in the past 18 months that don't appear in the maps and it is funny when driving through a major suburb to see the instruction "Drive to nearest road" displayed.
Looking forward to someone letting me know where to go for the info.

I have the same question!!!

I am using ICN 635 and it works pretty well at most time but Adelaide is changing....I thought to purchase the POI data that also including the update map....unfortunately....not as what I thought....

Have to admit I was hoping that the hosts would at least have a link to the reseller of upto date map software, still looking and have a few friends searching for me too. Seems that Navman haven't done anything with the 6 Series software recently. I just hope that they are going to keep it up to date and not try to make us buy another unit to keep up. I'd change to Tom Tom if they did.

Navman icn 6 series map update

Maps for icn 6 series are not available in any Navman store. I searched on the net and nobody has any map updates for Navman iCN 635.

Yeah thanks I have tried that but for the 600 series there are no new updates, so it looks like I have to keep buying street directories again. Thanks for the link.

you have no idea do you... The maps are available for the 600 series from the navman store. You have to send in the unit to get it updated as that is the only way navman does this update. I know this because my sister in law is the GM for Navman Gladesville. (head office) and i've just had mine done.

GPS: Navman iCN 720

map updates

I own the iCN 720 - I just got off the phone to Navman. According to them, the maps installed on the 720 are the most recent maps, ie 2006 version.

I was told the 2006 maps wont be updated until the end of 2007 or early 2008.
