Just registered with you today and am a bit confused how to install the speedcam databases etc.
Forgive me if the answer to my question is already here somewhere but I had a quick look in the FAQ's but couldn't see anything.
I have a Kenwood DNX7200 DVD/satnav in my camper van and want to upload an up to date speedcam database to it. It uses an SD card for imputting software etc.
I was wondering if there is a tutorial anywhere or list of instructions on how to do this as there seems to be different types of garmin downloads on this site and I have no idea what to do.
I am sure you experienced users have answered this question many times from many newbies.
I also have a (new to me) tomtom 730 arriving soon for use in my kit car so will be probably be asking similar on the tomtom forum but it is just the Garmin I need to know about now as it maybe a bit more involved with having to install software via the SD card.
I have the Kenwood DNX-7360 and I have installed successfully the Cameras without a problem.
The best thing for you is to download and save all the files as it is to a folder called garmin the launch the program called POI loader which an be downloaded be garmin. Once u run it will ask for the files and where u want to install it of course u choose the SD card. It will do it's business and transfer the file to the sd card. As you insert the SD card in its slot it will ask if you would like to update the poi and you say yes of course.
