As a recent purchaser of the TomTom Go 710, I was a bit surprised at how difficult the screen is to read in sunlight! (Yes it was on full bright and yes, I had my reading glasses on!). Is this normal, or do I have a faulty unit?

You should consider buying screen and glare protection from expansys.

Well not much response to my query! TomTom were less than helpful. "Read the instructions .. go to settings and turn up the brightness." Thanks, hadn't thought of that!!
