Post Garmin 765T turn itself off when seeking a route

After installing a new custom vehicle, (the motorhome) my Garmin 765T started to turn itself off when seeking a route. If I was just driving without a location plugged in it didn't lockup. I took it back to the purchase store, now Im afraid to download the new vehicle again.

Did you ask Garmin if they thought the vehicle may have caused the problem ?
What was their reply when asked what the problem was ?

best way, you may change to you original car pic. If the problem gone, so teh custom vehicle has caused the problme. So, try other new custom vehicle pic.
