MP3 or WAV file for Garmin 765T

MP3 or WAV file for Garmin 765T

Can I assume that only the MP3 files can be used on the Garmin 765T? I'm unable to use the WAV format.

I thought that both mp3 and wav files operated on the 765. My 765 uses both, but there may be some difference with the 'T' model

I have also not being able to play a .wav file on any of my Garmins GPS's. I first had a Nuvi 310 then a 760 and no a 765. A little frustrating as I have a number of albums ripped with a .wav extension. The upside the audible books are excellent

I have the Garmin 770 and you can use either.
