Can the custom vehicles be placed on an SD card?

You should create a folder, then put the vehicle pics in.

I would guess you'd have to create a folder on the SD card labeled 'Vehicle'... similar to the actual folder on the actual device

This will only work if you load the new vehicles into the units memory.

How to Install your Garmin Vehicle

Here are the instructions how to install your Garmin Vehicle:

How to Install:

1. Connect your Garmin GPS device to your computer.
2. Save Garmin vehicle files from https://www.gps-data-team.com/pda-gps-navigation/topic/1785.html
3. Click Extract, if necessary.
4. Browse to find the "Garmin/vehicle" folder on the Garmin drive. You may need to create the vehicle folder.
5. Put vehicles in this folder
6. Unplug the USB cable from your Garmin GPS device.

You would have to do the same for the SD card.
