My daughter has just purchased a Sat nav system from eBay. It is an Intempo digital buddy. The current map is from Navteq and is the 2006.Q1.4156 version of UK_Ireland.
I would like to know if there is a way of updating the map on this system. It does not have my current address, which is a new build or my work. I would return it if it is possible as it is too out of date for me.
Intempo digital does not do sat navs now. Navteq gave me Destinator web address and my sat nav is not listed.
It looks like your system uses the destinator application. I would recommend doing a total backup of your GPS (not sure if you can just copy all files to a PC or have to use backup software that came with the GPS)
After the backup try updating to new destinator maps, it shouldn't matter if your GPS is not listed as your GPS is probably similar to another model select a simalar model.
