I'm traveling to Queensland by plane soon and am worried is there restrictions to me taking my NUVI 660 in my hand baggage? Does the xray do any damage to the device? I hope not as I looking forward to making the most of it while on holidays.

Cheers Peter

Don't think there is any restrictionsa as it is a form of computer, and I have put my puta through the scanners many times without fault.

For electrical GPS device, there is not restriction for it on board; it will not be damaged by x-ray either.

Have a good trip.
