One of my Tom Tom V3 GPS comes up with can not use map which is Australia, have tried the reset button, restored a backup, even copied another of my V3's software on this V#, delted at files from the V3 and then again copied all the files, still same message re can not us map Australia, any ideas?
I have decided it is not worth trying to get the Tom Tom V3 up and going again due to map error message and the cost of updating maps at approx $130 Aus, so purchased 2 Tom Tom V 140 today to replace the V3's I had.
The Verision 3's did well being used on motorcycles for 3 years. They were protected in home made covers that kept the rain off them and acted as visors to keep sun from making the screen unreadable.
Batteries also became an issue, loosing usage time before requiring charging and on the motorcycle sometimes the USB power cable would come loose and hence was not charging whilst riding and hence it would turn off.
