Unfortunately I have purchased an updated map and loaded into my TomTom. Now I can not see or import my backuped personal poi's onto this new map. There are quite a lot from my travels, and friends locations.
Can anyone assist?

It is your backup file with OV2 file? if so just copy it to your map folder.

You will have to go into the "show POI on map" then pick which you want to see on your maps. Your POI should not have been deleted with a map update.
