I work for a golf course that has reopened a little over a year ago.
I purchased my garmin gps last month and to my surprise, the course did not show up on the map at all. How do I fix that?
Linda, it's good to take a bit more proactive approach to the business listing issue.
This is how I add and edit my business locations:
1. Log on
2. Find any matching POI category (e.g. Shopping)
3. Find any matching POI (e.g. Target Stores)
4. Click the Add or Edit button (you'll see it once when you log on)
5. Add or edit your location and click the Submit POI button
Another way you can handle the issue is to add it to your unit only as a 'favorite'. It can be done if I recall by entering the GPS coordinates or when you are actually there, you can do it by going to >menu>tools>where am I?>save location...then adding whatever additional info it prompted you for (name, etc.). When you want to be directed there, you would go to >where to?>favorites>then to the place>then 'go!'.
