You can gain extra room on the Nuvi 760 AND 660 , and probably other units where you can access the memory via the USB connection.
First remove the SD Card , connect the unit to the PC with the USB line, open the units memory either by going to My Computer or let Windows do it using AutoPlay, Once you have the memory open copy all files you can see to a folder you can make on the PC hard drive, you could name that folder Garmin Nuvi Backup, by doing that you can replace any accidently deleted files that could happen in the future, once the copy has completed click on the Folder called Garmin , double click the folder called "Voice" and delete all non English files, that will leave only 6 files left, 2 each for British, American and Australian, (see below) then go back to the Garmin folder and double click the folder called "Help" and once again delete all non English Folder's within the Help folder, that should leave only 2 folders, Then go back out of the Garmin Folder and open the folder called "Audible" These files are only Demo books and are of no interest , leave the folder called "Position" , Then open the folder called "JPEG" and delete unwanted photo's, and that's it,
