Phone book on 265W

Hey

I can connect via blue tooth with my Nokia 6120 phone, but the phone book does not show up. I checked on the Garmin site and my phone is not listed. Can I just create a folder under the Garmin directory? When connected to my PC and then send the contacts via blue tooth from my phone?

I'm concerned about altering/adding to the Garmin directory, or is there another way to do this?

Phone book transfer

I had to on my 5500. Select all my contacts and then send via blue tooth to my nuvi 760. From then on there is the phone book icon on the phone on the GPS

I tried to send a contact via business card to the GPS (bluetooth) failed. Tried to sync via blue tooth contacts ... fail.

Maybe it just not ment to be

265w and 6120 phone book

I quickly tried a couple of ways, and I'm a bit technologically challenged.
I got the phone to sync ok, but could only activate the call if I added the number to a contact in the phone. Did you try the previous post by sending contacts to the unit? I'm interested as when I now get my phone back from repairs (I have trouble ejecting the SD card) I need to get my contacts into the 265wt.

I dont get the phone book icon at all, so I can't add any numbers to the GPS. I would be happy even if I could enter numbers manually. I downloaded the latest updates from Garmin and still no joy.

Hello,
I have a Nuvi265WT and to solve this problem I did this,
I pressed the "where to?" icon, then choose Address, then spell city and entered my contacts city, then house number, then the street name and choose save, then enter the persons name and press done. You will then be shown a message that staes" saved to favorites.
The next step on the screen is to press the "Edit" button, you will get a screen that lets you choose - Change Name, Attatch Photo, Change Map Symbol, then press the scroll down button on the bottom right hand side of your screen, and then you will see - Change Phone Number and Change Categories. Press the "Change Phone Number" button and enter your contacts Phone number and press done.
Now press back 7 times and press your Favorites button and press Address Book and then choose the persons name that you just created, you should now be able to call them via your Nuvi 265W.

Okay, so once you have entered all your contacts into the Nuvi265W you will only have to press the "where to icon?", then press Favorites and choose Address Book., and select the person you want to phone.

I hope this solves your problem and it hope it is not to hard to follow my instructions.

I conect two cell phones to my Garmin 265W
When I swich to my wifes Motorola PEBL there is phone book, but when I swich to my phone (Sony Ericson) no phone book...
