I have been trying to get help with my points of intrest for Tomtom that do not seem to exsist. The first person I talked with tried to help me by having me download a file that I could not find on the web site. I called back and got someone else and they had me down load POI's but only got a few. I tried again and am being told the same thing I guess I will not be able to get point of interest unless I know the address first.
Can any tell me how I am supposed to get POI's? I made a bad assumtion that the unit would come with them. Before I added the ones suggest, like McDonalds I have some fast food placed but I don't have any good places, like Red Robin or Olive Garden.
Should have bought the Garmin my friend had hers works great. Also what is considered a POI close to you. Is that one close to the home you put in?
I will check this site again for any answers I can get. In the mean time I guess I will have to carry a phone book with me for what ever city I am in, so I can get an address, because at least with an address I can get this unit to work.
