I have a few questions that I would greatly appreciate some help with.

1) How do you register the module with Garmin. Every number I have doesn't seem to be correct. I have entered the numbers from the module itself and have even tried entering the Unit ID digits from the "About" part of the application.

2) Does anyone know where to download the update maps and firmware for the Kenwood KNA-G430 module. I was told to register it on the Garmin website, but as I mentioned before none of the numbers seem to be valid.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I had difficulty too, just change the number from 03003... to 13003... etc. It is the number in very small print on the bar code of the box, good luck. I didnt get an update.

go to the kenwood site and search around and you will find the latest software 3.6 version. i have downlaoded it and now it is very slow to lock onto a satellite. not sure if there is a fix for it yet. good luck.
