I need to buy a TomTom. I am looking for something that works, does not have extreme contrast/glare, one that I can install voices onto, and one that has a good POI database. I live In LA. Which one should I get?

Second, how good do these free voices sound? If I get one, will it sound terrible, or pretty acceptable? I am most interested in the Sean Connery voice.

Any Garmin model will be better if you live in the USA. Tomtom has quite old maps, the most expensive accessories and poor to non-existing customer support.

I would stick to the Garmin GPS in the USA.
