I am in a place - I don't know the address i.e. street etc. But I want to add this to POI. I am supposing that it reads from GPS, so there should be an option like add current position to POI, and then i will give my own name to it.
I also have another question for this forum. How I can view/display the latitude and longitude of current location.
Also can some one tell me that a famous place like WalMart is not there in POIs.
1. find GPS coordinates: Coordinate Finder
2. add GPS coordinates to any local CSV file (on your PC or Mac)
3. convert coordinates with: POI Conversion Tools
4. Wal-mart is here.
On my Navigator, I go to the following option to add the current location as a POI:
- Change Preferences
- Manage POIs
- Add POI
- Select category to add it to (if you've already created one, otherwise on the Manage POIs screen, click "Add POI category")
- Click GPS position
