Hi,

This is my first post and I considering purchasing a Go910.

I was wondering should I put off buying now and wait for the new 2007/2008 Australian map, that's if it is due anytime soon

Hope someone has some inside info.

v675.1431 was just released in may. So its as up to date as its ever going to be.

I just bought a Tomtom 910 and would recommend buying it off ebay. You can get it for $405US which ends up being ~$530AUS delivered.

You just need to then put the Australian map on it.

Thanks a_hoskins,

I hadn't realised that the new Australian map was released so recently.

I wiil make sure when I buy the new Go 910 that it has the latest map version.

Just for interest if I buy a new GO910 but it has an earlier Map version will Tom Tom give me an upgrade to the latest version and if they do how would it be delivered by internet download or CD/DVD?

I don't think TomTom offers anything other then downloads. I could be wrong.

Ive been looking on ebay to buy a 910 from the US and they're very cheap compared to here in OZ but where do you get the latest Aussie Maps and at what price and will they load. I was told today that they're coded and you can't load them. Does anyone know if you can load them from one Tomtom to another thru the computer

I have just purchased a Go 910 and can not find any Australian Maps on the TomTom website for this unit ... please let me know where you purchased your Australian maps from so I may do the same.
