We enjoyed your comments on the accuracy of mph/kmph of the vehicles speedo vs our handheld gps devices. So, the ten of us crammed into a tractor trailer combinatiin vehicle with each of our phones ready to track our speed. We had iphone, samsung, moto, ericson, nokia and, verizon, t-mobile, sprint, cricket, metro pcs, wal-mart? Then, we went fast, really fast, faster, of course this first assessment of our actual speed was purely my own personal judgement based on the feeling in my stomach and the tears in my eyes from the rushing wind in my face. The speed was incredible almost unbearable. Fear set in. I wondered if we possibly had taken a wrong turn. Down hill. Faster, and faster. I could hardly keep track of what the heck we were supposed to be doing in the first place. Then I heard the screaming from the driver to hold on, the brakes had failed! None of us had taken this into consideration that something would go so wrong. I threw my phone from my hand hitting the kid in front of me in the back of the head. I grabbed the first thing I could think of my seat belt. I had forgotten to put it on!
