I've just had my Nuvi 760 replaced under warranty for a defective speaker.
Has anybody else experienced this?

BTW the turnaround time from sending it off and getting the new unit back from Garmin ...

I find it is better to just grab the WAV files if you have a choice.
As previously mentioned they are the file format of choice and will work on virtually all units.

I've never attempted to do it that way.

I've always been content to maintain a folder with good descpritive directory names and just load using the standard Garmin POI Loader software.

There are a number of options in Excel to [url=https://www.gps-data-team.com/convert.php]save a CSV file. The standard one will be in a comma delimited format.

I'd suggest [url=http://www.gps-data-team.com/map/]getting the co-ordinates and [url=http://garmin.gps-data-team.com/poi_manager_online.php]creating a custom poi.
