Hi People, has any one had any luck with the maps ?
Anyway , I have so here goes , if you have downloaded the maps, there should be 1 directory called navman and a text file called source, now follow the very simple instructions below, I think you guys were making the job harder than it actually is !! This does 100% work and for you info, I used a micro sd card (2gb) in a sd card adaptor, so I don't think the type of SD card has alot to do with anything either The only simple secret to make your device recognise any sd card as it is the original is that we copy the "NAVMAN" folder for example in the sd card as also the file Source.txt. Then you must edit the Source.txt file and there where it says the Par NUM: SW007185B for example, we copy the part number of your device which is located at the backside of the device written on a grey tab...not the barcode.. then you save the file and have a nice day!!! The device checks this number when you power on and it will recognise it as it is the internal memory or something like this |
