When I check in with MyDashboard, I am told I need a "Software Update." After clicking on the Link, it appears to install the software. After "Software Update Complete" screen, I am told to disconnect the device and let it restart. (There is a heart-stopping warning about not turning it off or on and the Nuvi 3590 is not on the list of those devices that can ignore the warning.) Anyway, it did not restart after 30 minutes... so I restarted it (with no apparent problems). However, back at MyDashboard, I am told I need a "Software Update." I have done this three times now with no joy. The current Software version that is installed is 6.20. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure you are shutting down safely using the "safely remove hardware and Eject Media " tool, as you may be disconnectiong before ALL the data is written to the GPS.
It is that little plug with a green arrow in it on the botttom task bar.
