I have a problem I have not been able to find a resolution to. I downloaded the stop light camera gpx file from this site, and I used a wav file for the voice alert. When I set the proximity alerts up using the voice alert it works.... However, when I am navigating a route, and a proximity alert sounds, if a directional prompt sounds over top of it (i.e. In .2 miles turn right), the sound gets garbled. Every prompt after that will have about 1/10th of a second of garbled sound after it. Worse, if I hit any menu button, the 1/10th sound bit plays over and over in an inifinite loop. The only way to get it to stop is to completely power off the garmin.
This does not happen with the standard "chime" if I do not use the voice prompts.
I have tried a hard reset and loading the data back in, to no effect. I am running the latest updates for software and maps. Does anyone have any ideas?
