Posted by Mark Re: Xmas present advice needed Hi Daniela, My advice is to not buy him one at all. Instead get him a store gift card so that he can buy himself the one he wants and he can also take advantage of the sales after Christmas. The prices will be slashed and new and better models will arrive. I'm sure he'll be happy Regards |

Posted by basirb Re: Xmas present advice needed I agree. I bought mine 3 months ago. It's almost half price now. I could buy two for the price of one! |

I agree... Visa gift card (50$ for teens and 100$ for my lady) will save them a lot and I'll stay within my budget plan. |

Posted by beitme1 Xmas present advice needed 8) If you read the reviews about them you will find that the "best" on the market at present are Tom Tom closely followed by Garmin. All you need to do is work out how much you wish to spend and which features you need. |

Posted by mikeman1485 Garmin Can't go wrong with a nuvi. Garmin makes a great GPS. I have a Tomtom. I used to use but I find my phone to be a much better gps than the Tomtom series. From my experience in sales and with most gps devices the Nuvi is a good device. I find the gift card to be a little impersonal esp for your father. |
