Posted by my_australia Timed School Zones POI Hi Timed School Zones, you know so they only activate at the correct time of the day. If a GPS Guider and a Road Angel (ov2 file) can get it right, why can't ov2 files in TomTom 910 get it right? Does someone know how to edit files. POI edit is not up to it. Cheers |

Posted by bjak Re: Timed School Zones POI To have your School Zone warning alert operational during school times only is a manual function of disabling the warning. The Point Of Interest alert has no Time Of Interest function and as far as I'm aware no GPS unit has an automated time zone alarm function. |

I have the 3790T, but have never noticed. I'm trying to get the custom POIs to work to remind me. |

I go through a few school zones on my way to/from work & they all have different time coverages & one is zoned 24hrs/7days a week (and yes you CAN be booked on weekends & holidays). In one location there is a 'T' intersection with 2 schools. The main road has one set of times & the side street has another & is one way during those times. |

Posted by steve.wilton1 Road Angel My First GPS was a ROad Angel. It took a life time to boot up and a screen that was smaller than a postage stamp and about as colourful but by gee the timed school zone was great. Had Peter Brock warning you too. sad in some ways it died  |
