Posted by Samtek How to set up Nokia LMX files - Installation guide 1. Download Nokia GPS LMX files (landmarks) or convert any POI file with our online POI Manager or Extra POI Editor to LMX file format. You can also use our POI Editor to create your own custom LMX files. 2. Save LMX file to your memory card (e.g. Documents). Use USB "Data Transfer" 3. On your phone go to Settings >> Data mgr >> File mgr >> Documents 4. Copy all required POI files. Too many POIs may slow down or freeze your GPS Landmarks application. 5. Assign appropriate category to your POIs. Goto Applications >> Landmarks >> Categories >> Uncategorised >> Options > Mark/Unmark >> Mark All 6. Return to Options and select Add To Category Cheers |

Hey Gents, I seem to be getting stuck on point 3 here. Ive got a Nokia 6110 Navigator and i cant see a 'documents' folder anywhere in file manager. Where am i meant to be copying the POI files? Ive currently just put them in root and experimented in a few other folders, but nothing is showing up when I go to add the POI's. Is anyone having the same problem? Thanks! |

Posted by scottscott666 Nokia N95 The Nokia N95 doesn't allow you to set warnings as you approach speed cameras. You basically load them as a viewable layer on the map. It's strange that they have not allowed you to set warnings, but I suppose they want you to buy them from Nokia and nowhere else. You can get around this by loading on the Garmin software or other warning software. The Nokia 6110 allows you to set warnings, audio and visual. There are probably other ones out there that do the same. I also know it does not work on the new N97. |

Posted by huanzhu2003 No voice warnings I installed the landmarks on my Nokia N97 But it has no voice warnings. And Under the 'settings', there is no option to activate the voice warnings. |
