Ongoing problem Aldcliffe

Our Hamlet has been plagued with HGV vehicles directed the wrong way by SatNav. One driver got his vehicle stuck between the hedge and a wall and died of a heart attack at the scene. County Highways are unwilling to put up a No HGV order and the "Road unsuitable for HGV" sign is ignored by drivers that can't read English. The lane that causes the most trouble is Called Railway Crossing Lane, Lancashire and its co-ordinates at the point where a HGV gets stuck is Easting 346526 Northing 460220 (postcode of nearest property LA1 5AS. This lane is a cul-de-sac but not marked so on SatNav's. Any HGV getting to this point would have severe difficulty in getting out... is there anything else I can do? I have been in touch with the Road Haulage Association to discuss how members could report errors from SatNavs and they would publish this in their news letter. Are you the organisation they should contact? Cheers.
