Hi All Just purchased my first in GPS (Garmin DriveLuxe 50) and found that the built-in POIs (even with latest 2017? maps) wasn't that great. Didnt have obvious ones for my areas or are out of date. 1. Is this common for Garmin? They seem to update the maps a few times a year but do POIs update? 2. If i register here and download the custom POIs - do they get deleted (or need to be re-applied) after a Garmin map updates? 3. Also does the Garmin GPS de-duplicate POIs? (ie. builtin POI for a petrol station and then a custom one for the same station) Thanks - any advise is greatly appreciated! Cheers Justin |
