| Posted by elbishi Symbology for custom POI Hello. I created an address point POI by converting from a geodatabase feature class, loaded into a Garmin 57 LM and it worked beautifully. Able to search by address and route is displayed. However, only about 12 points out over 50,000+ were symbolized. Wondering if the record number blew out the process, reduced the number to around 38,000 and reloaded. Again, the POI worked well except now there are no point symbols visible on the screen. What am I missing to have the points of the POI symbolized? On the first go, the few points were symbolized by a small square outline. This is perfectly adequate. Thank you for any help, el |
| Posted by kevin.hutch Re: Symbology for custom POI You need to add a BMP file with exactly the same name for the ICON otherwise the GPS makes an attempt to set a default ICON. Then it depends on the GPS brand what you need to do with that ICON. |
