| Posted by nick.ponsford Garmin favourite location details to Mercedes Command upload Hi all, I hope you can help. I have a garmin nuvi 1440, with approx 100 favourite locations stored in it . (work addresses) I now have a new Mercedes A class with a full i-drive and Command system. How do I up-load my saved favourites onto the address file in this Comand system please ? Thanks Nick |

Save it to your PC and convert to MB file. I used this to transfer my tomtom files: https://www.gps-data-team.com/convert/ Does it help? Cheers |

I can only see GPX Mercedes, and when converted, neither of these files open due to an error, "The Open GPX File command could not be completed. The .gpx file Current_Mercedes.gpx could not be opened. This is not a valid file. Found <gpx:gpx> at the beginning of the file " Thanks |
| Posted by Andrew GDT Re: converting POIs Nick, that message means that the file is empty. How many POI lines can you see if you convert and export your files as a CSV file and open it with Notepad? Try to change or remove search and country filters and download that file again. |
