| Posted by zok2704 Garmin Oregon Hi guys I recently up graded my GPSmap 62sc to the newer touch screen Oregon 650, I use my Gps in the car plotting outback tracks on stations as I go hunting and I use a 12v cig adaptor which I bought separately, now with the 62sc as I turned on my ignition off the car the 62 would power up and start plotting tracks when I turn my car off the unit powers down, now with the Oregon when I turn on the ignition the unit powers up but doesn't turn on it shows charging I have to switch the unit on manually on the power on button which sometimes I forget and the unit is not plotting tracks and when I switch ignition off the unit switches off, is there a setting I can get the unit to power up as soon as I switch the ignition on I've read endless forums and Goggled subject and could not find answer |
