| Posted by keith-watt 2012 Volvo S80 Manufacturer SAT NAV POI format? Hello, I have tried down loading and importing the Volvo format of POI and my car's sat nav says they are corrupt and can't be imported. Yes a corruption is possible, but not so much on 2 memory sticks and 2 separate down loads, can it? :( I am now of the opinion the Volvo formatted POIs are no the right ones for my 2012 Volvo S80 D5's in built sat nav? What is the correct format of POI to use for a 2012 Volvo S80 D5's in built sat nav? :?: TIA, Keith. |
| Posted by keith-watt Volvo S80 D5 2012 Sat Nav POI Format Information Hello All, After trying the Volvo format of POIs in my car's manufacturer installed sat nav and finding they don't work, I posted a message asking essentially what was I doing wrong and Mark kindly helped out! After saving all manner of POI formats to a memory stick and trying to upload them to my car's navigation system, it turns out that the Garmin GPX format of POIs will work. So I thought it worth mentioning to anyone interested that; Volvo S80 D5 2012 manufacturer installed Sat Navs use the Garmin GPX format of POIs. Regards, Keith Watt RN (Rtd.) MRCN. |
