| Posted by jackie User friendly nuvi downloads I just bought the nuvi 2797 and I'm also wondering if I'm just updating the same maps over and over again? I have a fast connection...I'm just confused by all these updates one after the other... If they were numbered or somehow identified as different updates I'd have a better idea of what the heck I was downloading. It's the not knowing. I'm going to assume they would alert me to the fact if I was downloading the same thing over and over again...??? That's something they could rectify to make an user friendly downloads. |
| Posted by eravus update or not+ Usually if you updated let say maps or firmware that update disappears from options. If any update is available you have to use it until they disappeared. Also check the name and version of update. If they are the same don't use it. |
