| Posted by LB Parish Clerk Incorrect road naming I write as Clerk of Langley Burrell Parish Council in North Wiltshire. There is frequent confusion with satnav users finding this village. The road through the village (Postcode SN15 4LQ) is incorrectly identified as "Maud Heaths Causeway" on all satnavs and Google maps. The correct name and postal address of this road is "The Common" (The name "Maud Heaths Causeway" as shown on OS maps refers to a historic footpath which is a scheduled Ancient Monument - NOT the road!) Please can this be corrected to overcome the frequent problem of delivery drivers getting totally lost. |
