| Posted by Colin O. How to install GPI files? I have a Nuvi 1390T and want to load some gpi POI files. I need to put these into a folder on my computer, before using the POI loader to my GPS. When I click on these files, windows says "File not known". There is no way of putting them into a folder on my computer. What do I do? Thanks, Colin |
| Posted by Mark Re: How to install GPI files? Hi, Windows cannot read Garmin's GPI files as they are created for Garmin GPS units only. Do not open downloaded GPI files, just save them to your GPS device and they will work. Check this: POI Loader info. Regards |
