| Posted by Hameed How to figure out the version of software on a Garmin 2720? I want to buy a Garmin 2720 and asked the seller what version of the map software is on the Garmin, however he doesn't know. How do you figure out what the version is? I want to explain this to him so that I can find out what version is on it before I bid on it. I would rather it is Version 8 so that I don't have to shell out another $100 or so upgrading from Version 7 to 8 after I buy the unit. |
| Posted by JohnnyP The 2720 came out with Version 8 maps. These have recently been upgraded to Version 9. It costs about £40.00 |
