| Posted by helpdesk12889 Cannot download POIs to Garmin device Hi all, Having some trouble getting the custom POIs that I've downloaded onto my Garmin device. Firstly, I've got the Garmin nuvi2597LMT. I've downloaded every single file type of the POI that I want to use, however, each time I try to send them to my Garmin through the POILoader program I keep getting a message saying "No valid data was found in the specified folder, therefore no data was written." I set up my folder structure the same as the one mentioned at the top of this thread. Is there something else I'm missing/doing wrong? |
| Posted by forbiddenfruit Similar issues I initially had problems myself as i was new to the forum. I have a Garmin 255wt and not sure how that is similar to yours, but dis you definately load both the gpx and bmp files to the folders which you wanted the POI loader to convert and install on your device? |
