| Posted by matthew44 Extra memory for a Nuvi 1200 Newby Here... I just use my Nuvi 1200 in North America and have no plans to travel in Mexico so I just need to load the 2 North American map sets. Being as the Nuvi 1200 is rather limited I'd like to know which chip to buy for my Nuvi 1200. What do y'all recommend for the amount of GB for this chip? 64, 32, 16, 8, or 4? If I can utilize a large chip I don't mind buying it but I'd hate to waste the money if it's not needed. Thanks! |
| Posted by johmazz2006 extra memory Suggest you check with Garmin on the maximum size memory that will work with the 1200, as there have been a few people with memory problems due to the individual units not accepting all size cards. |
