| Posted by glenwen Getting Garmin to work Hi Again; I have had my Nuvi 2797 for a couple of weeks now. Not quite as user friendly as my old tom tom. Not as easily modified as the old tom tom I would really appreciate some simple instructions to get some of the basics working. I have searched the forum and read a plethora of posting regarding POI installation. I now have the tiny little symbols on my Garmin, but no sound whatso ever. Is there a way to increase the size of the symbols? Is there a simple way to get sounds? As I said I have read and reread the instructions several times and I still cant get it to work. Either there is something simple Im missing or it's just too hard to work it out. Thanks. |
| Posted by glenwen Help HELP; I have just loaded a series of POIs to my Garmin using the garmin direct process ( http://www.gps-data-team.com/pda-gps-navigation/topic/16.html ). It put them all in my favorites. Now my favorites is full of something I don't want in favorites. How do I get rid of these? Thanks. |
