| Posted by glenwen Garmin traffic issues Hi All; I have only had my Garmin 2797 for a few days but it appears that it is less functional than the old Tom Tom I used to have that I replaced with this unit. I work in Newcastle and while it took a few minutes for the Tom Tom to boot up with traffic, the Garmin seems to take at least 30 min. However from home on the Central Coast it boots up imediatly. Does anyone out there have any suggestions or ideas. |
| Posted by b.munse Garmin 2797 What do you mean "boot up" gps lock on? mine (2797) does that in about 10 secondes when warm and about 45 seconds when could. |
| Posted by peter3333333333 Garmin Traffic Is it related to the local provider of the traffic data? My Garmin seems to struggle in some areas with traffic data. |
